The Collector

Updated: Feb 11, 2019

This concept began with color thoughts... I'm personally not a big fan of brights, so it was important to me to create a concept that evoked color, but wasn't screaming it. This palette is what I call "sunwashed". Imagine exposing brights to the sun ever so slightly - there's still a vibrancy about them, but it's "chalkier" and more complex... For this concept I envision a woman who is not afraid to make a statement, but it needs to be authentic and chic with a touch of quirkiness & individuality. I call it "The Collector", since there's an artsy, lively edge for those who are not afraid to experiment. The future seasons new shapes & silhouettes like long blazers, dresses/long tops over pants and waist focus in the form of belts and self belts can be eclectically, yet cohesively put together.

My Muse is Natasha Goldenberg (see below, top row). Her style is eclectic and polished with a twist. To me she's a modern bohemian and I think a lot of women are looking for individuality in a sea of sameness.
